History
Collard Construction was established in 1994. The MD Alan Ryeland took over from Keith Hood his father in law as MD in 2015. Keith had 25 years previous experience within the insurance and minor works sector. Refurbishment projects were taken on which balanced well with the repairs and maintenance. Subsidence works were also carried out using traditional underpinning methods, prior to the more common piled solutions now used.
From the initial 5 employees the company developed and in 1997 Alan Ryeland, Keiths son-in-law joined the workforce eventually becoming a Director in 1999.
Further contacts were made within the insurance sector leading to inclusion onto the list of contractor networks. We have long established contacts for commercial contracts again on the maintenance and repair side.
We have a very low turnover of staff. They are committed and fully versed in ensuring that your home or business can run as fully as possible during our works.
We are committed to training them where required and for them to come to us for further development. We look to train operatives and try to carry an apprentice and wish to continue this theme. We currently are looking to take on a further apprentice within our ranks.
